Equipped with Kingair, the China "Hulk" EMU made its first operation on the general speed railway in Shandong Province on November 12, covering three economic zones of Jinan, the capital of Shandong province, Jiaodong and Lunan.
The "Hulk" which is of the power centralized train from the family of China “Fuxing” is developed by CRRC Tangshan Co., Ltd. and CRRC Dalian Co., Ltd., configured in form of one power car with seven trailers and one control car, with a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour. It is an iterative upgrade product for the general speed electric railway.
The air conditioning units designed by King for the "Hulk" are further optimized on the basis of the existing saloon air conditioning units. It integrates the airtight and linear design for the “Hulk” so as to make it look more streamlined and close to the high-speed EMUs.
This is the first time that the drum-shape power concentrated EMU operated by China Railway Jinan Group, which sets a new record for the operation of China “Hulk”.
