The Lancang EMU, equipped with air conditioning from KING, arrived at the Vientiane station of the China-Laos Railway at 11 o 'clock on October 16 and was formally delivered to the Laos-China Railway Co.LTD.
The Lancang EMUs can run at a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour, configured in form of motor vehicle+trailers (seven)+control vehicle. Among them, the motor vehicles are supplied by CRRC Dalian Co., LTD,  the trailers and control vehicles are supplied by CRRC Sifang Co., LTD.
According to the line conditions of China-Laos railway, as well as the terrain and climate along the line, KING made its product in technical innovations such as air tightness for the whole unit and pressure wave protection, to let Lancang EMUs be characterized by state of art, safe and reliable, and highly comfortable.
The China-Laos Railway is the first overseas railway project to build and operate mainly by China according to China's national standards, which is directly connected with China's railway network. It is a synergy project of the Belt and Road Initiative and a landmark engineering of China-Laos friendship. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Laos, the completion of the project is of far-reaching significance to deepening the building of a community with a shared future between China and Laos.
